Scroll doomer

Privacy Policy

Last updated:

Scroll doomer does not send your data to the developer or any external service. Protection settings and checks work locally in Chrome.

What stays on your device

The extension reads the current website address to find its saved protection. It stores protected website names, chosen limits, scroll counts, session deadlines, and unlock settings in your local Chrome profile. This keeps protection active across tabs, refreshes, and browser restarts.

Wheel-scrolling activity is processed locally to enforce your chosen limit. The extension does not build a browsing-history log or scrape website text.

Unlock tasks

Math answers are checked locally. If you choose the essay task, the extension checks the words and typing events inside its own essay field to verify manual typing, word count, and repeated words.

Essay text is checked by the extension's local background worker. It is not saved to persistent storage or uploaded. The extension does not record typing in other website fields.

No external collection or sharing

The extension makes no external network requests. It has no accounts, analytics, advertising, or tracking services. Your extension data is not sent to the developer, sold, or shared with external parties.

Your control

Saved website settings remain locally after a protection session ends. You can remove saved extension data by clearing its local storage or uninstalling the extension. Essay drafts are not retained when the challenge is discarded or the page reloads.

Limited use

Data is used only to provide website scrolling limits and unlock tasks. It is not used for advertising, profiling, or unrelated purposes. Scroll doomer follows the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
